Born and raised in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Saher has interviewed and surveyed over 6,500 citizens from urban and rural environments in three regions in the country to share their lived experiences, challenges, and needs with governments and public institutions. His is passionate about ethically engaging and enabling local community stakeholders by developing local working teams, offering training and development opportunities, and creating safe spaces to amplify their voices and interests. For Saher, ensuring community members are included as co-decision makers in the research process is pertinent to his human-centered research objectives. He serves as a trusted focal point for tribal leaders, community members, and local cultural practitioners. His commitment to humanized research has helped deliver impact projects in socio-economic development, including incubating new sectors such as developmental housing and Saudi local design, as well as community-based grant-making and combatting human trafficking.

Saher is a student of multiple musical instruments, including guitar, piano, harmonica, saxophone, and trumpet. He dedicates his personal time to providing psychosocial support to street children and victims of forced child labor.
